Restoring an item recalls it to the item's original location.
Technically, there's no difference between a restore and a recall.
The command simply starts a recall action, choosing to overwrite the item's original location—rather than to a different location.
If you were to select those same items in the archive and perform a recall, recalling them to the location of the original items, the results would be identical.
